Audio, Pay-Per-Click, and Autoresponders, Answers To Common Questions (ppc advertising)

November 18th, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

By Matt Bacak

If you were to write down the number of questions you encounter each day while running your Internet business, how many would you have? Many, I’m sure. That’s why this article consists of six questions about common issues in your Internet business.

Question #1: If doing an audio CD, you are limited to 85 minutes per audio CD, what do you do if you have audio that is about 95 minutes long? Am I forced into using two CDs?

Answer: Yes, you are forced to use two CDs for 95 minutes of content. However, you can go in and trim down your audio so it fits on one 85 minute CD. You can accomplish this by first looking for all the spots where you have blank space and eliminating these time zappers. Another option is to go through the audio and edit out 10 minutes.

Question #2: Should you draw up a written agreement and should it include language that presents partners, including free offers that go to your list to sign up with these partners?

Answer: No, I never do written agreements. I just don’t do it.

Question #3: Have pay-per-click strategies changed today as compared to 2007?

Answer: No, I haven’t seen any big changes in pay-per-click strategies in 2008.

Question #4: Can a newbie with a virgin website have any hope of getting a joint venture partner to put his product on the web?

Answer: Yes, absolutely you can. Basically, if you have good copy then you are more likely to bring in joint venture partners that will help promote your product. You can also attract joint venture partners by showcasing good results for your product.

If you test your product sales via Google AdWords and promote it to your own list before you start marketing it to other people then you can use those statistics to attract potential joint venture partners.

Question #5: Can you use AutoResponse Plus to manage more than one list?

Answer: Yes, you can manage multiple lists in AutoResponse Plus. You can set up multiple Autoresponders that go to multiple lists.

Question #6: What is the best way to put audio and video on my website so people can access my past teleconferences and so I can teach online classes? Do you have a prepared tutorial explaining this? Is there a free software program that will do the job well?

Answer: There are probably free software programs that will help you out with this task. I can’t think of any.

However, I do know of paid services that you can use for this task. Try the Instant Teleseminars program. I use Audio Acrobat. You can use audio and video with Audio Acrobat.

Professional Translation Agencies For All Your Business Needs
By Kristi Ambrose

A lot of individuals who run businesses over the Internet and even offline often run into people with various language backgrounds whom they need to work with on a project. In these instances if the individual doesn’t speak, understand or write the spoken communication you do then you are going to need to find an agency or company you can trust in.

I know this sounds funny, but I have run into it a lot; your doing business with a person, they can 100% write in English, but when it comes to reading the English language its like it becomes a whole other language. In this case, free services aren’t going to assist you one smidgen because they just aren’t a reliable form of translation, nevertheless, a paid service would be considering these businesses and agencies use real people to read and translate the content you give them by hand.

It doesn’t matter if you are a really large corporation and you deal with people every single day that are from other countries and speak other languages, or if you have a minute business and just need something like this every once in awhile, in the end it emphatically is something that will pay off for you, and there is really no comparison in quality when dealing with a real translation service rather than a free one.

I have actually tried this one just as a test to see what would happen. I took an article I wrote and did a free translation service, and then I did a paid one, and I can absolutely tell you that the results from one are entirely different from the other. They even used different words in the free service I used from the paid service I used on the other site.

In all realism it’s probably not a good idea to trust the free services if you want to continue looking professional in your business enterprise! These paid sites are nice to because they usually offer all sorts of translation services not just that of a document or an article, they also offer things such as legal documents, technical manuals, patents, training materials, corporate brochures, newsletters, annual reports, product packaging, Internet sites and software localization.

The translation services include typesetting, interpreting, voice talent and web page design. Really these agencies can be used from start to finish in any business, on any site, for any number of people. These business literally use any language you could think of including well-known languages like Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese as well as some other languages such as Tamil, Samali, Kannada, Ilcano and Hungarian

In the end, if you want the best, you have to use the best, and these paid sites are the absolute highest quality processes you could or would ever want to use! If you want your business to flourish, then try it out and see how it works out for you, I would personally go with the site translation first, especially if your finding a lot of people from other countries visiting your website.

You know they are probably leaving right after they realize they can’t read it. So if you have 50,000 American hits in a month and you have 25,000 from Japan, 15,000 from Italy and 5,000 from France, it’s a really good idea to switch over and see for yourself what the change will do for you!

Just in Time Inventory in Todays Business

A business practice that has become very popular over the past ten years is Just in Time inventory. The Just in Time technique involves storing only enough inventory or materials to meet immediate demands, which is particularly effective for a product that has a short manufacturing process. For products with longer, more complex manufacturing processes, in-process inventory is reduced, requiring a great deal of communication between units to coordinate efforts and keep production running smoothly. In either case, Just in Time inventory can present a significant cost savings.

The Just in Time inventory concept was actually first used by Henry Ford in the 1920s. It was his vision that the perfect process would have the raw materials arriving from the dock and going directly to the factory floor for assemblyand then the finished product would roll out the door to be delivered. Of course, this would require that everything goes perfectly and there are no delays in transportation, leading to wasted time on the line waiting for materials. Because nothing is ever perfect, Fords ideal vision is not likely to come to fruition. However, that does not mean you cannot find a compromise, storing only a minimum of materials and inventory as insurance against delays.

The Value of Just in Time Inventory

A major cost of a company that sells a physical product is the cost to store inventory. Storage costs can add up: warehouse space, staff for the warehouse, utilitiesnot to mention the costs associated with inventory loss through theft, spoilage or damage related to storing such as water damage. In most industries in todays business world , products are constantly changing or improving, and storing a large inventory will almost guarantee that your company will be left behind the curve, selling old products after your competitors have moved on. Storing an inventory is a very cost inefficient way to do business.

With Just in Time, all of these costs are greatly reduced or eliminated. Less warehouse space is needed to store your products, and you can say goodbye to throwing away spoiled or damaged goods. What may be more important, you can continually update your product line as needed to keep up with your competitors. When your research and development department makes an improvement on a component, you can integrate the improvements immediately, because you will not have large amounts of the old components to use up first. You will be able to provide your customers with the most up-to-date technology possible, which is great for your reputation.

A Just in Time inventory program is a viable answer for many companies that need to reduce costs and move their businesses faster to keep up with changing customer demands.

Ebay Auctions And Online Auctions By Harpreet Kaur
By Harpreet Kaur

The possibility of presenting your product to such a wide audience in a cost-efficient, secure and accepted manner has enticed many bricks and mortar businesses to jump on the Internet bandwagon. And the results are astounding. Online auctions provide merchandise from soup to nuts and everything in between, thus making it easier for customers to find and purchase a product or service that may have previously been unavailable to them because of either demographics or supply and demand. For more details.

Initially, the online auction business catered primarily to a particular group of individuals who were seeking specialty products or collectibles that were more difficult to attain in mainstream marketplaces. However, with the ever-increasing technological advances in online auction software, more and more businesses are recognizing that online auctions are a Mecca for millions of buyers who would otherwise not have had access to their product or service.

Future growth projections for online auctions are promising, offering businesses the avenue and potential to increase sales and develop exemplary customer service opportunities. The benefits are incalculable and more and more businesses, both large and small, are taking advantage of the awesome potential a successful online auction site can present as a powerful and efficient marketing tool.

The development of advanced, user-friendly, streamlined online auction software has made maintaining and executing control of your business with online auction sites an increasing simple matter. The result of this innovation and attention to customer satisfaction, coupled with ease of use and excellent tracking methods, has the added bonus of Internet Marketing often superseding more traditional methods of commerce. For more details visit.

As an added bonus, many small businesses are realizing the advantage of conducting their business in an arena that offers excellent potential with minimal risk. Expanding your services to the worldwide web does not detract from conducting your business in the more traditional method. Indeed, participating in online auctions can only serve to increase your customer base and add to your bottom line.

Notwithstanding the potential for success, there still remain a few drawbacks to online auction sites. Public awareness of online fraud has lent an aura of doubt and some customers are exercising increased levels of caution when dealing with cyberspace retailers.

A business that recognizes these fears and is able to allay them with outstanding customer service and fairness will soon develop a good reputation online and will be able to entice a wider group of customers to purchase their product and/or service.

Online auctions sites are also diligently working to weed out the more unscrupulous sellers, which, they hope, will offer both legitimate businesses and customers alike the opportunity to conduct commerce in a fair and impartial arena.

EBook marketing
By HARJOT TIWANA

The buzz in writing circles these days is all about self-publishing Ebooks. They hear that eBook are giving authors that added income in between getting their print books published, but they have lots of questions before taking that first step.

“How do I make one?”

“What do I write about?”

“Does anyone even buy Ebooks?”

Actually, putting together an eBook is simple. You write about something you are familiar, put it in a .puff or .exe file and voila, instant eBook that you can sell off your website and make a few dollars, or even thousands of dollars depending on your promotional efforts, and you’re all set.

Authors and entrepreneurs are doing this all the time and there’s no reason why you can’t either.

The first step is determining what you want to write about, of course, and what your goal is for writing your eBook.

In 2004, I became published in print format for the first time. It was for an anthology of soul mate stories. The main reason I wanted to put this book together was because I had a goal in mind. I wanted to show people who have given up on soul mates that they did indeed exist.

After it was published, I started a marketing campaign. I had heard that Ebooks were all the rage and that you could make some pretty decent money off of them, so I gave it a try.

I started on another book on relationships, but while waiting on this book to be finished (which was taking an incredible amount of time due to research), I decided to try my hand at writing an eBook and selling it off of my website for added income while I waited on my print book projects to be finished.

This eBook was also centered on the soul mate relationship, which I felt would add to my expertise and would help sell my print books.

It worked.

Even though I only had the eBook up on my website and just a few online storefronts, the orders were coming in. However, I became disillusioned because I didn’t just want to sell a few copies; I wanted to sell hundreds or perhaps more.

I developed a plan.

Not only did I list it with any website that would announce my book, write up press releases and send them to every free press release service out there, and a myriad of other places, but I decided I’d write another eBook and give it away free to all those who bought my paying eBook.

http://www.create-free-pdf.com

This eBook was shorter, but to the point.

After I became successful using this promotional device to sell my paying eBook, I found this experience very rewarding and learned quite a few things in the process:

1.) you do not need a publisher to publish your book.

2.) Self-published Ebooks DO sell and create that added income while you’re waiting for your print books to sell.

3.) Writing Ebooks help give you expert status.

4.) Your Ebooks are 100% profit.

5.) The more you promote and make you and your eBook visible, the more income you will make.

Writing Ebooks and selling them yourself without the middleman - the publisher - is a great way to make money. Turn that “starving writer” moniker into “successful writer” and start cranking out those Ebooks. Once you start, you’ll wonder why you never thought of this great way of bringing added income into your household before!

Nothing To Fear, AdWords Is Here (adwords)

November 14th, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

By Frank Rumbauskas

There are many internet marketers that would have you believe that AdWords and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising are something to be avoided at all costs. Just visit the Warrior Forum or some of the other internet marketing message boards and you will find this kind of pay-per-click logic. Why would this kind of logic be so rampant?

A great man once said, “The only thing to fear is fear itself,” and though the quote was not about AdWords or even internet marketing, it holds true. Mankind in general has always been known to fear the things they do not understand and I believe that this is why there is so much anti-PPC sentiment.

Many very intelligent people in the internet marketing business are in the anti-PPC crowd. This boggles my mind. If you are doing well with article marketing, joint ventures, and other free techniques then why would you want to limit yourself by avoiding AdWords? Using PPC can do nothing more than open up a bigger market and if used properly can generate a great amount of income. Free traffic generation is a great way to bring traffic to your site and should be part of any marketing strategy just as AdWords or PPC should. Use every tool at your disposal to grow your business.

Most of us start our online marketing career with little or no real cash and the thought of paying for advertising can be a scary thing in that situation. Honestly, though, if you take the time to learn how AdWords works you will find that there are many options available to control ad cost.

Learn how the Google AdWords ranking system works. Unlike other PPC systems, AdWords takes more into account when determining ad placement than simply the maximum bid price. The other things that are used in determining ad placement and cost are relevancy, click through rate, and the quality score.

With a thorough understanding of the AdWords system it is quite possible that your ad will attain a higher ranking than a competitor’s ad, even though they have a higher maximum bid price.

When conducting your PPC campaign with AdWords, use your keywords effectively. Test your ads using broad match, phrase match, and exact match keywords. This will allow you to laser-target traffic. Using keywords correctly is one of the big keys in controlling ad costs.

Use keyword macros to build your click through rate quickly and easily. Keyword macros will set your ads apart from the competition. When a user conducts a search the macro will use the search string as the headline for your ad, capitalize the first letter of each word, and place the headline in bold type. Keyword macros get much more attention than static ads and we know that more attention means more clicks.

If you take the time to learn as much as possible about the Google AdWords system you will have a huge advantage over the competition, understand how to control your ad costs, and enjoy a larger market as well.
